Set among the majestic oaks and sparkling waters of South Carolina, the Lowcountry's newest private gated community with the best location, is right here at May River Preserve. We were able to acquire this partially developed community with endless possibility in 2014, with hopes of catering to the casual, laid-back lifestyle of the Lowcountry. We recast the original vision of the community to make it our own, targeting a market niche that was being underserved: consumers seeking a quality product at an exceptional value.

Our vision was to create a low density community with large homesites centered around a community gathering place, allowing residents to connect with nature and neighbors, creating authentic relationships; the heart of every true neighborhood. The 350-acre community is situated between 200 acres of natural preserve, providing the comforts of a peaceful, undisturbed lifestyle. The heart of May River Preserve is at the community’s pavilion and pool with outdoor kitchen and plenty of space to enjoy the open, fresh air and crystal blue waters.
